About the Owner
Hi, I'm Kayla McGrady (she/her)—a storyteller, officiant, and founder of Cherished Vows Weddings.
With a 20-year career spanning marketing, journalism, consulting, training, and public performance, I’ve always been drawn to the power of words and the beauty of human connection. My professional journey has taken me from writing headlines to advising executives, from leading workshops to crafting narratives that move people. Along the way, I discovered that I find just as much joy in helping others shine as I do in creating something myself.
In 2018, I designed my own wedding ceremony from scratch. In 2021, I had the honor of officiating my sister’s wedding and helping her write her own vows. Those two experiences lit a spark in me—and revealed a new calling. Today, I use my creative and communication skills to help couples craft meaningful, personalized wedding ceremonies that reflect their values, their love story, and the life they’re building together.
As a Gottman Leader and Certified SYMBIS Facilitator, I offer education opportunities that strengthen committed couples at any stage of their relationship. Whether I’m working behind the scenes to help you find the perfect words to express your feelings or standing beside you as your officiant, I’m honored to be part of such a significant moment in your lives.
